MiceFest.com Logo

Tuesday, April 15th, 2008

I wanted to create a simple friendly design for MiceFest so I thought I’d make a start with the logo. To be honest the idea came quite quickly while messing around with the title text (MiceFest.com). It is not quite finished but I thought I would record my progress as I design each part of the site.

Xtra Gamer

Tuesday, April 1st, 2008

Xtra Gamer is a computer gaming blog/review site I have designed for a friend of mine Nick Maunders. He is using Word Press for his blog so I just had to design the template for him. After a while of researching other gaming blogs we decided to use some famous gaming characters in the header and then give the site a flash colour theme. Nick writes alot of gaming reviews for all consoles and is up to date with the new and up and coming games.

Nick has managed to heavily link his blog with some of the larger gaming blogs, which will hopefully help him raise his stats and popularity of his site.

Good Luck Nick and hope the new design helps!

Fubra.com

Tuesday, April 1st, 2008

I have been looking forward to writing this blog, (sad I know) but I have been designing the new Fubra.com site for a few weeks and the finished result is now up. Creating this site was a pleasure but I think that just comes with my job to be honest.

The light feel to the new sight I feel allows you to breeze through the pages with relative ease. Finding out more about Fubra’s wide range of websites, apps, jobs, staff, facilities including a new Gym! The awesome chillout room with HD 80 inch projector with surround sound, digital TV, Xbox Live and a variety of films and games (one of my fave bits ;) haha )

Let me know what you think of the new site here on my blog. I hope you enjoy finding out what we do here at Fubra and come back and visit again.

New Guides Network Site

Tuesday, March 25th, 2008

The New version of The Guides Network site has been built and put online. It is not as yet fully finished but the main design and concept of the site is in place. Our Network of sites include guides for Insurances, Utilities, Financial and many more. The new site has been designed as the main hub of our guide sites so I have tried to make it as simple as possible to browse through them all. Each site is grouped into a category (ie. Travel Guides) then a short description of every site is provided along with screenshots of the sites themselves. A video is to be made for the front page of the Guides Network site describing our aim to provide you with free, unbiased information in a simple, user friendly format.

Hope you enjoy!

My aim is to spruce this site up and let it show all of our sites in a creative, fun and stylish way.
